In this divided world, a young woman named Leena Zhen is forced to confront the oppressive power structure in a desperate attempt to save her dying mother. She faces numerous obstacles, including a police force that seeks to imprison her and a privileged ruling class that refuses to acknowledge her basic right to exist. Through her unwavering determination and resolve, she must transform into a formidable warrior, ready to fight for her own survival and the rights of those around her.

Joseph Michael Lamb
Joseph Michael Lamb is an award-winning entrepreneur, business consultant, group facilitator, and author. He earned a B.A. and M.B.A from Southeastern University. Before beginning a career in writing, Joseph founded a technology firm in Atlanta, Georgia that he operated for nearly twenty years, selling the firm in 2018. From there, he founded a management consulting firm RedVine Operations where he provided business consulting and group facilitation services to small businesses.
Joseph writes in the science-fiction, thriller, and fantasy genre. His love of writing comes from his love for reading, which began in his early teens with the fantasy genre. While most of his writing has been technical non-fiction, including a book he co-wrote in 2000 and as well as his first full length non-fiction book in 2001. His latest work is his first fiction novel, Aberjay Rising, published in 2023 and is the first book in a three-part Aberjay series.
